Hey folks,
Glen and the team have been batting around an idea for a new iPhone/iPad app that would help you and everyone else come up with great ideas for getting your kids active and imaginative in their play (and, yes, it will be free for download). But we need your help. Essentially, we need great ideas for what to do when all the old ideas have been used up. You know what we mean: "Moooommmmm, what should we dooooo?"
"Well, why don't you read a book or go play on the swings or play a game of Candyland or build a tower or have a catch with Johnny next door or play with your trucks?"
"But I don't feeeellll like it."
"You don't feel like doing any of those things?"
"Nooooo. Can't I watch a movie?"
Believe us. We've been there. While you want them using their creative energy, or burning off calories, they need something new to do, something cool and different. That's where we want the app to come in. We want great new ideas for fun things to do in any situation, whether it's cold out or rainy out or hot out or there are a million kids around or your kid is all by himself or herself.
So, lay those ideas on us. Please send your creative thing for a fun game, or activity, or craft, or exercise, or anything, really, that's fun and creative and active to our Communications Director (which means, "guy who can type") Sam Pfeifle, at samp@kidscrookedhouse.com. If we select your idea for inclusion in the app, we'll have your first name and last initial, along with where you're from, right there next to the idea.
So, please include with your idea:
Your Name
The Town You Live In
That's pretty much it. Your idea can be long, or short, have directions or be once sentence long. We don't care. Just send them along and let's build a great app together.
Thanks!
