The Chordas family, of Wallingford, Connecticut!

Katherine Chordas entered our contest this fall when we asked people to take a survey and tell us what they think about our business and about playhouses in general. For doing that, she was entered into a drawing, the winner of which now receives a free Kids Crooked House (with a deed for the Christmas stocking).

As a graphic designer, we're not surprised that she was instantly drawn to the design of our houses (Glen kind of rocks that way) when she saw them on Jon & Kate last year. Was it ideal that our houses were featured on "the divorce episode"? No. Do we think everything about Jon & Kate + 8 is peaches and sunshine? No. Did it get our houses in front of millions of people like Katherine? Um, yes. And that's kind of a good thing. Sorry, but little companies need to find ways to make big splashes.

Anyway, Katherine and her husband James have a cute little three-year-old girl named Quinn, with a baby boy due in March. We couldn't be happier that they'll both have the opportunity to play in a Kids Crooked House in the backyard.
